Are you a fashion designer in Nigeria? We want to know about your work!
We are conducting a survey on fashion designers as part of the Africa Fashion Futures research project to understand the work of designers in Lagos, their networks and collaborations, and the challenges they face as a designer. Please take part in our project by completing a short survey (10 minutes) this link:
Please share the survey with your networks to help us include as many fashion designers as possible. We would like to have a broad representation of styles, business practices and career stages. All data collected in the survey will be treated anonymously and used only for our research project. Participants will also have the option to take part in an interview about their work, after which we will create a profile to showcase their work (see an example here).
If you have any questions, you can get in touch with the research team via the email address below: firstname.lastname@example.org
We would like to invite you to submit an interest in taking part in a research event entitled "Nairobi Fashion Designers Forum" and it aims to bring together fashion designers in Nairobi to discuss issue of concern to them as individuals and as a sector. The event will take place on the 10th of September 2019 (10am-4pm) at Nairobi Garage.
The researchers would like to involve as many fashion designers as possible, to have a broad representation of career stages and work. They aim for this workshop to be open and inclusive, however, we only have a limited number of places (20) to enable discussion and knowledge sharing. If you are interested in participating in the workshop, please complete the online survey via this link: https://kings.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/nairobi-fashion-designers-forum-registration-2
